Fund a Project
Every orphan deserves a safe place to call home.
Your support builds safety, shelter, and sustainability for orphans. Because of volunteers and supporters like you, our partners have been able to provide safe shelter for the orphans in their care.
Here are some projects that you can help with. We know the needs are great–we can’t do it all, but we can all do something! Please consider a one-time or monthly recurring donation. Every dollar makes a difference!
JBFC, Tanzania: This partner, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, houses more than 40 girls and continues to strive toward sustainability with agricultural projects and education. Their school serves an additional 300 children from the community and has earned a reputation for excellence. We just recently helped them put an irrigation system in place.
- Tractor: $13,000
- Greenhouse: $7,000
- Tiles for library: $3,500
JRMD, Burundi: This partner is new to us this year. I’ve followed their progress for the past three years and have been impressed with the level of integrity and passion in its founder and director. The need is great in Burundi as civil war and strife continue to create orphans and perpetuate poverty, causing the most vulnerable to suffer. Progress is being made as a school has been built and is currently operating. They need to complete the dormitory buildings for 80 boys and girls. Additional projects include a security wall, and later projects will include a community and dining hall for family meals.
- Dormitory for orphans: $25,400
Sihanoukville Children’s Home, Cambodia: Another new partner in Cambodia comes to us as a referral from our board member, Kim Anderson. The orphanage has been in operation for some time, but needs repairs to its roof and a security wall. We’ll be sharing more details on the partner soon.
- Roof/tile repair: $10,000 (FUNDED!!!)
- Security wall: $6,000
myLifespeaks, Haiti: This partner provides Forever Families for children with special needs in Neply, Haiti. The organization provides medical care and training for caretakers and hosts volunteers to support their caregivers. Supporters are helping raise funds for the transport of children to medical appointments and for volunteers to medical clinics.
- School bus: $15,000
$7,500 Matching Funds from a generous donor means your funds will be doubled!
